I'm wondering how other Arizona lovers felt about the possibility of draining Lake Powell? My uncle worked there with the NPS ( he retired this last year) in maintenance. Some of the horror stories of what he found in that lake, ick.

Sat, January 31, 2004 - 5:56 AMBesides all that Carbon Monoxide, I bet there IS a lot of hell there under those waters. Yuk. Draining it? hmmmmm, well, as far as nature goes....it would be, at least, returning it to it's natural, origional state but people will surrrrr miss that water and the beauty of water RIGHT on the desert. I'm all for the way it is supposed to be though. -
