How do I get to the Weaver's Needle? topic posted Tue, February 10, 2004 - 2:02 AM by Will

I was exploring in my Jeep recently, on my way to the Roosevelt Dam, when I saw off to the south a magnificent rock formation. I have since come to learn that this is the world famous Weaver's Needle. Then I heard that you can hike to it. Is this true? If so, how do you get there?

Peralta Canyon Road off US 60 east of Apache Junction.

The map on that web site is very detailed and will show exactly how to get there.
