Hi, I am gradually planning a move to AZ.
I am looking to be within 5 to 40 miles of Sedona, if possible. Anyone from Cottonwood, or Jerone out there? Any other recommended spots, friendly but not too expensive?
My move will not be for 2 years I believe, but I want to be thorough and grounded about it, and would love to make contact with friendly people in that area who plan on sticking around for a while.

I live in Flagstaff. There are places in that town were it is affordable...but you have to find them. I have found it a wonderful place to call home and is only 40 minutes away from Sedona.
