Hello.. I am taking a boating trip to Lake Powell in a week and have done quite a bit of research and planning. There are nearly 100 canyons and several things to see in each canyon... quite overwhelming!

I would love to get some tips on great spots or canyons to see. We'd probably want to avoid the super busy places like Rainbow Arch, but aside from that we are looking for fun areas to hike, beach bum, camp and explore. We depart from Wahweap so western areas are easier for us to get to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
