My wife and I did this hike with our 3 year old son. It is beautiful and fairly novice until the very end where you must do some real climbing with hands and feet to reach the landmark (We decided against this as it would have been too much for our son) Even if you don't decide to stick it out to the finish it is extremely pleasant and scenic, I have lived in the red rocks my whole life and still was not let down by this trail-
